LKG - Teaching Model at Zenkids
At Zenkids, we empower young minds to enrich their experiences and learn for a lifetime. Our teaching model ensures personalized attention and fosters collaborative learning:
Student-Faculty Ratio: Each faculty member is assigned 12 children, divided into three groups of four. This allows for focused attention and effective monitoring.
Role of the Observer: An observer (faculty) monitors the children's activities and progress, ensuring balanced development for each child.
Activities and Learning Approach
Individual Activities: Faculty members present activities to each child individually, while other group members observe. This method allows children to learn by watching and then practicing on their own.
Group Activities: All children participate actively in group activities, promoting teamwork and collective learning. Group rotations ensure that children have the opportunity to work with all their peers, enhancing their social skills and sense of community.

Child-Centered Approach
Pace-Based Learning: Activities are child-centered and tailored to the pace of each child. This ensures that every child progresses comfortably and confidently.
Choice and Exploration: After presenting the activities, children are encouraged to choose their work and explore their interests independently. Faculty members will only suggest activities when children are struggling to decide or are not engaging with the activities at all. This approach fosters independence, self-motivation, and allows children to follow their interests.
Mindfulness Activities: After the learning period, mindfulness activities are planned to help children be mindful in all the activities they focus on. These sessions aim to cultivate awareness and presence, enhancing the overall learning experience.
Continuous Monitoring and Evaluation
Child Assessment: Children are monitored and observed every 15 minutes by the observer. Periodic evaluations ensure that all planned activities are presented and explored by the children both individually and as a group. Observation records are maintained and made accessible to parents through the student portal, ensuring transparency and ongoing communication about each child's progress.
Faculty Training and Assessment: Our faculties are trained by AMI-certified professionals to provide high-quality education to children aged 3 to 6 years. Continuous monitoring and assessment of faculty members ensure they deliver exceptional education and adapt to the evolving needs of their students. Regular training sessions are conducted to keep our educators updated with the latest teaching methodologies and best practices.

Interaction of Faculty with Children
Respect and Guidance: Faculty members give respect to each child and observe their points of interest. By understanding where children need help, faculty members provide targeted support, ensuring that every child receives the assistance they need to overcome challenges and succeed in their learning activities.
Guidance and Motivation: Faculty members suggest activities to children only when they struggle to decide or are not trying the activities at all, and motivate them to explore all presented activities, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience.
At Zenkids, our teaching model not only focuses on academic growth but also on developing essential life skills. By promoting teamwork, planning, cooperation, support, and sharing, we prepare our students to thrive in their future endeavors.
